FDA probe the possibilities that Orlistat (Xenical and Alli) Cause liver Damage

In just hit the news that the FDA is now taking a close look on the possibilities that Orlistat could cause liver damage.

Altought the FDA hasn’t make any public warning about the ingredient, they are looking at the 32 cases founded since 1999 to 2008. 6 of them include liver failure. Most of them happen outside the United State.

Consumer that happen to have been using Alli or Xenical should continue as directed and there is no need to panic yet. But if you found yourself feeling weak, jaudince, fever, or other liver damage symptom you should discontinue.
