In January 2010, the FDA has warn consumer about the existence of a fake Alli. The fake Alli is commonly sold in the internet and not many to be found in retail store.
Fake Alli has dangerous banned ingredient in it called Sibutramine which can cause heart attack on people, and some of the Fake Alli has twice the dose of Sibutramine.
At first glaze on the fake Alli you wouldn't know that it is fake, because it is so look like the original. Only if you dig deeper you would know that there are differents in those two.
The fake Alli doesn't have a LOT code on the outer cardboard packaging. While the original Alli shows an expiration date featuring a month and year, the fake adds a day to the other two. The plastic bottle itself is taller than the real deal, with a wider cap.
The inside package on the real one has safety seal printed with the word "SEALED FOR YOUR PROTECTION", while the fake one only has plain foil with no word at all.
Inside the capsule also very different, the real one would have inside its capsule a white pellet while in the fake one it would only have white powder.

So be careful when buying slimming pill in the Internet because you might end up buying the fake one instead.
