FDA warn dieters to stop consuming Hydroxycut right now.

Since May 1, 2009. The goverment health official has warn people who has been using Hydroxycut slimming pill to stop consuming it. Hydoxycut has been recalled due to many cases of serious liver damage.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official said that the company that make the slimming pills has voluntarily agreed to recalling the 14 Hydroxycut product off the market. Hydroxycut has been advertised as being made from natural ingredient and at least 9 million package has been sold last year world wide.

Dr. Linda Katz of the FDA's food and nutrition division said the agency has received 23 report of serious liver damage linked to hydroxycut product. The report also include the death of a 19-year-old-boy living in Southwest. The teenager died in 2007 but the report came in to the FDA by march 2009.

Other patient experience from jaundice or yellowing of the skin and also liver failure. Two patient need a transplant, one of the has already received the transplant but the other one still on the list.

Health official said that they have no lead on what ingredient in Hydroxycut that could be the cause of these liver damage because Hydroxcut ingredient has been changed many times overtime.
